I’ve looked all over Jacksonville. I’ve had biggies, I’ve had Tony D, Carmines, 5 Star and this place is the closest I’ve had to NY pizza. Get it a little well done and you’ll get that stuff crust. The only real issue I have here is that the ceiling fans haven’t been cleaned in YEARS it looks like. Outside of that, I come here every week for dinner. Just please clean your fans, aigns and a/c vents. They are right over the prep station and the tables. Updates! I’ve changed my review to all 5 stars! Seems that because of my review they did a deep cleaning and everything looks great! Love coming here every week and will continue to do so!!!!!
Close to NY, the pizza folds, so if your from NY, you know what I mean. I like it and would recommend it. Slices are good size, not too small. Nice size dining area and clean if you want to eat in .
They were very nice and it was pretty cool to see the cook throwing the dough. My kids love their pizza and my husband grew up eating this pizza. He swore it was the best pizza he's ever had and I have to agree with him now that ive finally tried it. They were fast with preparing our food and very respectful to every customer that came in. I highly recommend eating here at least once.
You can't go wrong with this Rennas location! No flop, great taste crunchy crust! Out of all pizza places popping up they're still best on the westside
Been going to Renna's Pizza for many years. The original owners have sold the place. However it's still a good pizza each other restaurants has a different owner so it's not the original Renna's.
This was a great find. Hidden gem for sure. Giant size slices of pizza. Got 1 slice, since it's big, a side salad which also big and a sweet tea for about 10. Great value! If you get 1 slice and a drink it's about 5. They also have desserts. Very friendly staff. I believe the whole pizzas were 12-16. Enjoy!
I didn't know what to expect of Renna's Pizza. It was a comp lunch given to my team and I by a client. They raved about this place and I've never tried their food before. Not to mention I don't prefer pizza any day of the year so it's not my most favorite thing like most people. I ordered the basic small cheese pizza. Surprisingly, their pizza is none like other local pizza places in Jacksonville. They serve NY inspired pizza and hot subs. I love that their pizza is not all dough. Thin crust and simple nice flavor and tasted natural. I now look for the flavor and have been to this place two more times in the last 10 days. Took home to hubs and he loved it too! He also ordered their Calzone and his feedback was the size of their calzone compared to other places is smaller and the taste is 3 out of 5. Another thing I like about Renna's is they do not sell other food that stray them away from the NY style pizza they specialize. Although having wings would be great to order with pizza, they do not serve it. So good job and keep serving great pizza. You will have my business as long as you keep serving that cheese pizza! I give 4 stars to average the rating of 5 for the pizza and 3 for the calzone that hubby ordered. 4 stars for atmosphere. The place needs more light and update.
